France coach Didier Deschamps said his team had both positives and negatives in their 4-5 defeat to Spain, but said conceding five goals was something France must improve on.

“It’s a mix of good and bad because there are things we should have taken away and โปรโมชั่นพิเศษจาก UFABET สมัครตอนนี้ รับโบนัสทันที things we should have left behind, but when you concede five goals you’re not doing things right.”

“We controlled the game in the first 20 minutes. Our opponents were more efficient. There were two 10-minute periods when they were better.”

“When you concede a goal it’s easy to blame the defence, but it’s about balance and you have to think about the quality of the Spanish national team as well. There are some things to fix, but there are also a lot of good things. We are a team with great potential in attack. We were punished because we played against a high-level opponent with great efficiency.”

“This game was different compared to last year’s Euros (losing 1-2 in the semi-finals). It’s rare to have that much possession against Spain and we had a lot of chances. It’s because of the lack of efficiency.”

“Their goalkeeper made a few saves but they did well. I’m not saying they were better than us. We played good football but you have to play well in every aspect. The facts speak for themselves.”

“I don’t like conceding goals. I’m not here to blame anyone, but I have a defence that I’ve worked with. This is another defence that I’m not used to playing with. I won’t give up on this defence. There are mitigating circumstances, but Spain are very efficient. We can score goals as well.”
